New 4730 self-propelled sprayer. They will be growing 300 acres of sweet corn, and this is the sprayer in charge of the crop. :-D

Nature is strange many times. Now we have been placed 50-60 km north off Gothenburg and this is how the steep rocks are next to a barley field....it just raises up...

No I didn´t stop...... Passed this place with quite many tractors on the yard. Most off them were BM´s and Volvo´s wich I actually doesn´t find intresting and then there were 3-4 A-C model B wich I were born and raised with. On the way home it was raining terribly so i wasn´t intrested to stop that time either.

Its nice to see that swathers are sold new in here again. there was big market here in the 70´s with Hesston as the big actor. Some off them are still running though. We used to have a mounted swather in the front off a tractor for swathing peas in the 80´s.

Also spotted this old Fordson Major wich is a very common tractor here in Sweden. I am a part off a Swedish community about Ford & Fordson tractors and I am stunned about how many off these that are still running doing job for firewood logging, showeling snow, tedding hay and so on. This one has some old hay equipment behind.

This is some old summer farm buildings. The shephards had these buildings to live in when they had the cattle on summer pasture in the mountains. They were on the bottomfloor filled with hay and on the topfloor a room to live in.

Been a while since I posted any photos here. It is vacation time in Sweden, and very close to grain harvest. I have been a bit up north where my sons have competed in some MTB races. This took place in a small town next to the lake Siljan wich may be traditional swedish area and a huge tourist trap. I can guarantee that you will not be disapointed if you took a visit. The surroundings are amazing. I took a few photos off som old barnsand buildings up there and I guess they probably are about 2-300 years old. The first is a house/barn I spotted behind a huge hedge.

A North American 7430 or 7530 can be fitted with with all the options that are standard in Europe, such as the fender extensions, suspension, corner post exhaust, right hand door and front 3pt. Some farmers prefer to get the same quality and performance without the "luxury" which does not make any money. We have a 7930 that is specced out almost like a Euro tractor, except it has axle duals too.

nice swather. used to run a MacDon 9300 (in 2001 through 2004) with a 14 foot auger header and crimper, and a 21 foot belt draper. was an extremely nice machine. CD player, air ride seat, AC would blow you out the door. hydraulic motor in wheel was nice too, instead of up on frame with chain drive. being able to drop 21 feet in windrow next to standing crop, then on next pass drop on opposite side so the baler could hit two 21 foot windrows at once was good for business as well.

thanks for the comments this 1 was a 2000 model very nice tractor to drive and towed like a champ . i think it pulls beter then the 6930 we traded it on but it has 20 less HP !

Klopt wat je zegt Renze. Op elke compostering wordt de temperatuur noulettend in de gaten gehouden om de onkruidkiemen en zaden te doden. Ook heb je heel veel verschillende soorten comost van verschillende afvalstoffen, en hier verschillende mixen van. ( houtsnippers, snoeiafval, GFT, bermgras enz ) elke soort compost en mixen heeft weer andere meststoffen gehaltes. Als deze kiemen niet gedood zouden worden zou geen enkele boer meer compost strooien Sjoerd ;)

Mest aan het overladen. Moest 19 kuub worden gewogen/bemonstert, en kon het land niet in met 3 asser waren paar hele kleine paardenweitjes dus die even leeg gezogen met 2 asser tank op de zaak.

Geese are a pest in Holland too... They eat lots of grass because of their inefficient digestion, and when they shit, its the worse there is: its not digested so its a green smelly sludge. Cattle wont eat the grass that geese left over, when geese threw their smelly sludge over it... There isnt much geese needed to ruin a hectare of grassland... Storks eat frogs and other water animals. We actually like them, they are harmless to crops, and beautiful to have them nesting on your farm...

Ik ben nog bezig met het reviseren van de motor en de remmen van mijn 3011. Spuiten wil ik dit jaar niet eens meer aan denken, eerst eens op zoek naar een stel geschikte spatborden, en mijn gereviseerde blokje goed in laten lopen voor de 6 kuubs giertank, zodat hij geen olie gaat zuipen... ;) Ik voer ook gelijk een aantal verbeteringen door, ik vervang de achterste krukaskeerring (op de 0 serie van 1960 tot 1967 een schroef die de lekolie terug de motor in schroeft) door een rubberen lip keerring (gufero) van de 5511 en later. (een goeie tip van de dealer) Ook gelijk een wisselstroomdynamo erop. De trekhaak ga ik ook verzwaren zodat hij de meststrooier op de zwaaihaak kan hebben, met een trekker die licht is van voren ben ik niet zo gecharmeerd van een boventrekhaak... ;) Als je eenmaal bezig bent en je geen haast hebt (omdat je volgende week de trekker nodig bent oid) is het mooi werk om een trekker klaar te maken. Als je haast hebt is er niks aan, stresswerk.

We left the guy that owns the tractor drove about 3 miles to this overlook wher you can see Ike's farm, It is open for tours at certain times of the week!! The barn in the middle is about all you can see from here!!

In 1950 Ike Eisenhower Bought a farm on the civil war battlefeild at Gettysburg. I'm not sure when he was made president of the USA I should have looked it up!! Anyway this farm was his home til he died -- in 1955 the Cockshutt # 40 Black Hawk was given to him and I know the man that has it now!!

Thank you all. It all happened in matter of a few minutes. It was just around 7:00 last night a few yards off the North Atlantic ocean. Franky I wouldn't have been surprised to see a UFO and some alliens afterwards. :)) :)) I couldn't feel or smell a different odor 4 Crops, but I realized that it had to be some different gases bulding up in this area. Mark It actually did not rain where we were, and we left shortly thereafter. I found another decent one. Tony

Jup vestelbaar stuur heb ik ook op de eicher en ben nu aant horen voor een remventiel ;) mijn eicher heeft nog nooit gewerkt sinds hij hier aan gekomen is geweest maar normaal is de druk van de ventielen goed vandaag ben ik op het werk de draai plateau gaan halen dus dat is ook weer inorde (sebiet monteren ;) ) Groetjes Ward

It had been a broiler farm -- The farmer said the buildings and equipment were a little over 20 years old --- he told me the chicken co. wanted him to upgrade everything but he said that he and his wife were getting older the kids were all gone -- he wasn't doing it -- so the houses were falling down --- I know i don't understand it either!!! At one time him and his brother farmed over 4000 acres -- now it's just him and his wife and they do a little over a 1000. 4 CROPS @ those gussets were on the inside rim also Were they factory??? I don't know and yes they do look very odd!!!

mooi werk ward;) heb je ook na de druk van je ventiel gekeken? ik heb er al een shim tussen gelegd omdat ik de schudder en de duiner lastig oppgetilt kreeg ieder kopeind. ging wel maar dan met veel gas. zet je er ook een hydraulisch remventiel op? of mag dat niet in belgië? heb jij trouwens ook een verstelbaar stuur?

The 7510 was manufactured between 1999 and 2002, so that's not that old. We still can't buy them below the 50 grand overhere.....

A few harvest pictures from the Coggan family from 2008, the year they set a new wheat planting world record with 905ha in 24 hours. I was there a couple of days after all the media was gone. A few days earlier nearly all of Australia's TV stations were there to document the harvest of the World record crop. They did it all for Charity and raised $75,000AUD for a hospital. De filter buizen waren volgens Hak berekend op een 5m kuip. Maar na 4 meter hadden we de filters al blood, dus zogen ze valse lucht aan. Nu zijn er op 4m diepte nog eens 5m filters in gespoten, dus totaal 9m. Hopen dat we het nu droog houden ;)

Ha, so that's where they are !! In Holland we have them too, mostly in spring time. I dont know what their travel schedule is, but i think they travel north and south every year. Perhaps these birds were in Holland last spring ??? I have never seen that many together though.. :)

As it has been very dry in July until now we see irrigators everywhere where they grow potatoes or vegetables. Here a Bauer rainstar resting after fulfilled work at a big potato grower on the road between our farms.

Sure looks different as we are used to see them, thoose US Premium versions looks more like a stripped version here - no mudgard extensions on the rear fenders, a tiny not side mounted exthaust, no opening door on the right, no front lift and pto etc. Thanks for posting! Lennart
