Quality farming
This is the first picture that i have sent, i have plenty
more
I took this picture in belgium summer 2003 when we were
harvesting our (koolzaad) sorry forgot the english word for
it.
A few minutes after taking the picture the claas havester
steering piston broke in two, the driver noticed it when the
machine wouldnt turn and was heading staight for the highway
instead.

Koolzaad = rapeseed or Canola. ;-)

good you noticed, our mercator is not equipped with side
blades to cut the canola.
when our NH 8070 will be ready we might equip it with
sideblades, only if we continue with the canola because of
new european rules it wont be so interesting anymore next
year.

I dont remember the type it was, it had to come from farm
because there are only 2 farmers that grow canola in the
whole region (canola is very rare in belgium).
We have a jd 6610 4 years old 3000 hrs, a 6620 one year old
800 hrs and a 2040 with a Quicke loader 18 years old 10000
hrs ond not a single break down( lost wheel of 6610 once on
the road, no "material" damage tough, exept for the mudguard
that exploded)
We are about to replace out mercator with a NH 8070.
We have+- 100 bbb cows, i dont know the english word for the
things we grow so excuse me.
