I think that are pivots to rain the plants. I thought one
circle is 64 ha i believe they call that a quarter section
but i'm not sure

yes, definitely pivot irrigation circles. Quite common in
Colorado.

Here is a picture I took looking down the length of a pivot
in Brownfield, TX.

(Also taken on July 8 Kadee, and I also flew home the same
day - we might have been in ATL at the same time! :-) )

Pieter Maris you are correct a quarter section = 160
acres/64 ha. A full section = One square mile/2.59 square
km = 640 acres/259 ha.

Hi Stu,
we flew Delta and were in Atlanta from about 3:30 pm to 5:28
pm. We flew to Savannah it's only an hour to get home from
there and instead of 4 from Atlanta.

(also Delta) got into ATL about 5pm! ;-)
