What is this
No idea what this is! Some of us who study fruit and nuts
cant seem to find it in any reference material. Does anyone
have an idea? The pod is about 17cm (6 inches) long.

What is its worm name? It destroy my nuts
Re: What is this
it's hard to say the name of the worm but sometimes there is
a type of seed weevil that goes into the nut or fruit when
it first sets. This type of seed weevil you cant always see
damage from the outside, only when you open the nut.
Sometimes you have to make sure all the old nuts are
cleaned up. In the case of mango or macadamia nuts it can
take two years or more to break the breeding cycle of the
nuts. The field has to be cleaned every 2 weeks to get rid
of the fallen nuts and branches and leaves where the worms
and weevils can breed.
If you ask local university maybe they can give you idea
of some type of spray to use on the tree when nuts first
set or start to form.
sometimes soap and cooking oil help.
sometimes people paint base of tree with diesel fuel to
stop some worms.

Good luck to get rid of them!
