What is Milo? I have never heard of it before.

Milo is a crop that is planted the same time corn is
planted. And it looks exactly like corn until it gets about
2 feet tall. Then the top of the plant starts growing a
yellow bush like thing this is the grain part of the plant.
The top of the plant turns dark brown and the it is then
harvested around the end of July. when it is harvested the
combine only harvests the top of the plant where the grain
is as you can see in my pictures. I'm not sure what they
use the grain for but alot of people tell me they use it for
animal feed. Alot of people plant this crop in louisiana
where I live. :-)

Found out yesturday it is sorghum and milo is just another
name for it.:-)
