Wheat / Australia
Wheat as at 17/07/04. Seeded into mulched barley stubble.
Re: Wheat / Australia
A very nice no-tilled wheat. Congratulations.
What is your wheat yield projection to this field?

Re: Wheat / Australia
Hi Flavio
It would be nice to get 2.5tn/ha. Very dry at the moment
very little rain for July, frosts every morning this last
week. No till crops into stubble are hanging on better than
bare ground.
I see in one of your posted photos you had emu's in crops,
"Australian Emu's"?
Regards Stuart
Re: Wheat / Australia
Is South America emu's. Are smallest tham australian emu's,
I think. Maybe the pre-historic origin is same of yours.

Re: Wheat / Australia
I had the same question in mind on the emus. There were
definite similarities with the australian version but
something about them looked a little off...
Re: Wheat / Australia
Hi Stu,
Yeah they definitely looked smaller than here, we don't see
many wild emu's here, they are further north of us.
Occasionally see an escapee from the many failed emu farms
that were around a few years ago. When the industry failed
many were just let free.
