roseapple flower
Ants love this flower of the roseapple fruit for it;s
sweetness and the early morning dew that clings to the 300
stamen.

Re: roseapple flower
Great photos Ken. You took them at night with a flash?

Re: roseapple flower
Hi Stu
took them in day time with a strong filtered flash.
the flash falls off faster that way so the background goes
dark. Helps being in the middle of the jungle too!

Did you ever see the message about finding out if any
members of farmphoto are going to terra madre in Italy in
october? It's part of the Slow Food movement and will be a
meeting of 5000 farmers from around the world.
Univ. is sending me and I thought it woul dbe good to meet
some of the other members if they are involved in it or slow
food.
Take care

Re: roseapple flower
Hi Ken, your idea of some sort of calendar so users can let
each other know where they are going to be is a really good
one. I have some half baked code together to make it happen
but it's still a little flaky. There never seems to be
enough time in a day but I'll try and get it together fairly
soon...

best,

Stu

Catalonia is great place!
Great people, great wine and great food!
I hope I can go back there.
I worked there 12 years ago at time of Barcelona Olympics.

Re: roseapple flower
Hi Stu,
Calender would be nice to have but even a bbs type message
board or more than one message board dedicated to specific
topics like travel, chit chat & other topics.

I think this terra Madra thing might be of interest to many
of the members here.
http://www.terramadre2004.org/
is the top page about it where it has info in 8 languages.
take care
