Measges from Frank Chang

I have received a measge from Frank Chang. He wanted
permission to copy and change change one of my pictures,
since he asked me nicly instead of just stealing it I let
him is there anything I have to worry about like a virus, or
what is a 419 scammer?
Re: Measges from Frank Chang
I think the way this clown operates is by sending you some
message admiring a photo or artwork or something. This is
just to let you think he is a good guy and to build some
sort of relationship. After a while you receive an email
asking you to participate in a shady scheme which
undoubtedly will end up in you parting ways with your hard
earned cash (should you be foolish enough to participate).

if you don't know what a 419 scam is you need to visit:

Here is an example letter that one farmphoto member

My Name is Frank Chang, I should first and foremost
apologise for my delay in getting back to you as it was
occassioned by an official trip to Hong Kong. I am the
foreign remittance manager of the bank of china (boc)
johannesburg branch South Africa.

i actually had to contact you via Farmphoto due to the
nature of this project which was actually the reason why i
contacted you and not exactly for the painting like i noted
on my short message to you on thursday the 8th of july. And
for a detailed brief as to what i have for you please go
through this web link as it is for your perusal:

I am soliciting your assistance for a partnership in a
project in respect to our late client Mr Mohammed Kamal
Yasser, his name is the last on the list of victims of the
crash. The said client had a deposit of US$15,000,000.00 at
the bank which i personally surpervise, but the fact remains
that he died "intestate" without a beneficiary to his funds
perhaps my reason of seeking your favour to allow me present
you to the bank as his rightful beneficiary as i shall be
presenting you with necessary back up documents and
information as regards this funds and if you give me
positive signals i shall initiate this project to a speedy
conclusion as i will soon
be retiring from he banks service and would need the funds
for investment since no body is going to come fort for it
before the bank converts into its vaults as unclaimed funds.

For this project i have decided to go 50/50 with you since
the funds will be more than enough for us both and this i am
doing from my own free will, You certainly have nothing to
worry about as the funds is a 100% drug and terriorism free
because the late client was a registered Oil consultant &
Contractor with the south African mining industry. Please i
would advise you
do not betray my trust for you on this project and dont in
any form reveal the content of this message to any body in
other not to get me into problems as i have my integrity to
maintain i suppose you should understand better what i am
driving at as i will reciprocate same overhere.

Worthy of note is the fact that nothing good comes on a
platter of gold, and for this single reason you shall be
directly responsible with the processing of this claims as
at when i present you to the relevant departments at the
bank since i cannot be sticking my neck out on this in
other not to jeopardise our chances for success, But what
ever you will have to incure in the processing of this
claims will be a far cry from the gains you are set to enjoy
as i am speaking out of experience. For mutual trust i have
decided to act first by sending you a copy of my official
identification card please handle with care a
