Its A Disaster
This is the seen in most parts of the uk as heavy rain and
thunder storms keep combine harvesters at bay, Here in
Salisbury Wiltshire the rain has kept the combine coverd!!
About 35% of the wheat has been harvest with spring barly
and beans stil to be combineing. Some farmers are combineing
when thay get the chance, Some were combineing at 29%
moisture, As of to day the 24th August more heavy showere to
day and are forcast till the middle of next week!!!!! :-(
:-( :-( Farmers are getting increasinly worried, most of the
crop is ruiened and its not worth the time combineing, just
might aswelll plough it in!! The next two pictures are of
fields that were started 10 days ago!! Still standing and
the wheat is starting to turn black!!

Here in Belgium it is the same
Re: Its A Disaster
Here in the Pacific Northwest U S, we are facing the same
though normally drier climate gives better chance of
getting crop in but still a worry. Worrying about sprouting
wheat in the head. Corn belt forcast on TV today didn't
sound good about looking toward harvest there either.
