Re: S280 and M150
I don't know if this is any kind of a special edition model,
and I don't know much about the 4-cyl engine in this
tractors, but I know that Valmet have produced 4-cyl engines
with much power in them for a long time. Like the 1203
(1981-1983) with supercharged 4,4 litre who gave 120 Hp.
1102 and 1103 with the same 4,4 litre with ordinary turbo
who gave 115 Hp (1972 - 1983) and as early as 1967 they had
the 1100 with 4,4 litre turbo with 107 Hp. Valmet also used
3,3 litre 3-cyl turbo up to 72 Hp in the 605 (1983 to about
1990) and Valmet also used the 3,3 litre 3-cyl turbo/72 Hp
in the Mezzo 6100. So I think that Valmet know what they are
doing when they put a 4-cyl engine in a tractor and push it
up to about 150 Hp ;-)
