Attaching the header onto the combine
Here we are attaching the header to our Lexion 460, it has
just entered the field to follow our Lexion 560 which
started the field an hour or so before, this combine will be
cutting one of our crops of winter barley :-D

(picture taken at the end of july, before it rained!!) :-(

Re: Attaching the header onto the combine
Here is our new Lexion 560 just passing me on the otherside
of the cab, I stopped just to watch him in action, I am
driving the Lexion 460 which is pictured above where we are
putting on the header :-D

both of our lexions have 25ft headers on them so in all we
make a 50ft cut when we are in the same field together!!!

Re: Attaching the header onto the combine
Here I am just about to start to clean down, we have
finished this field of winter barley and the next day we
would be cutting a different variety. Here is the Lexion 460
and Lexion 560 all ready for a good old clean out!! :-)

Re: Attaching the header onto the combine
Dear Claas580,

The sheer size of these new combines in comparison to the
much older dominator pictures what I posted is massively
apparent.
But there is somthing compelling about looking at the older
machines, just look at an old Matador, pure genius, dont you
think?????

Good luck

Gary Hood (clayson).

Dear claas580,

I have posted many pictures of old machinery lately, the
SF/hercules, Europa, Super500 and columbus, please do look
at them

Gary. :-D

Re: Attaching the header onto the combine
I have decided that we will upgrade our Lexion 460 for a new
Lexion 580 this coming harvest in 2005, we will then have a
Lexion 560 and a Lexion 580 to cover all 3100 acres we farm!
:-D
