Daewoo does Boo-Boo
After an almost hurricane near the Delaware sea shore - this
machine was trying to help set water lines in a new housing
development. I had to pull over, wade thru the mud in my
bare feet and get a closer look. I went on to a glorious
day at the beach and missed how the crew got this poor
machine back to dry land.

Still thinking about how foolish the operator must have felt
as they went to the job foreman for help.

He didn't even try to push itself out by planting the fully
tipped bucket into the earth and then push itself away ???

I've seen a Cat struggling, stayed watching for 20 minutes,
it struggled for every feet at a time but finally came out
of the mudspot.

Nice pictures !!

Bucket and boom are of great help for these
loaders/excavators stuck in mud. Sometimes you can even rely
on the articulated steering to get out of the wet spot by
twisting the body and keeping struggling backward.
