There is atleast one up in our area. A local farm was
combining corn with it last fall, but I never had y camera

Hi Nathan
To answer you question, you could probably find around 20 of
these machines in Quebec. Last march, a Cat representative
told me that they sold 5 Cat combines in 3 months. The
reason is simple: we have revenue stabilization insurance.
It gives so much money to farmers that some of them in my
area are changing one of their tractor every year only to
save on income taxes. However, stab has a big problem:
farmers are far less innovatives than in Ontario and the
price of land and milk quota goes up. I'm just coming back
from a field trip in South West Ontario (Brantford area and
Guelph area) and I can tell you that farmers down there are
far more innovative than up here in Quebec. In fact, I
would say that many farmers in Qc are only tractor drivers,
not farm or business managers. From a personal point of
view, I would prefer farming in SW Ontario than here in SW
