Bean Machine
A newly acquired 9600 with a JD 930 flex platform. Huge
step up from a 20 series! This was taken on our home farm
in Marion County, north-cenral Ohio, in early October, 2004.
We planted Campbell's Seed 354NRR soybeans in late april
and non-irrigated they were running about 63 bu./ac. Just
about the best we have ever cut. They weren't all that
tall, but they were loaded with pods and the bean size was

We own the machine. We run 3 combines on about 4000 acres.
All JD, 1 9600, 1 8820 Titan II, and 1 8820. Usually we
have 2 or 3 running in soybeans and 1 or 2 when harvesting
corn. Here is the line up, minus three semis.
