Hi Richard and William!
These fields are in Tuscany, in the centre of Italy!
Thank you very much for what you said, i'm very happy for

Re: My fields
Average annual production of durum wheat in Canada from
1997-2001 was around 4.5 million tons (2300 hectares
according to stats Canada)...mostly in Saskatchewan.

Re: My fields
Hi Emiliano,

I am born and raised in Canada. My Dad was born in the
Netherlands, and his entire family moved to Canada in 1957.
I plan on making a trip over there in the next year or so (
after I take some dutch classes.......... :-D ) One thing I
love about this site and the internet is all the beautiful
pictures from all over the world!!

Take care

Re: My fields
Hi Emiliano,

Great pic's. You have a lovely country. I once visited in
winter of 2002. I was on business in Como and surrounding
area. Spent one week. I have made some good friends there.
Great wine and food!

Best Regards,
John

Re: My fields
Hey Emiliano, nice pics! dont know if you already have the
answear to your question, but her it is:

on the irrigated land in for example Alberta (Canada)they
produce 5-6 tons/hectare

but on the drylands (not irrigated) in saskatchewan (Canada)
they produce only 2,5 tons/hectare

tis is what I know about it.. (I am from Holland, we produce
10 tons/hectare winter wheat...)
