one power harrow, one stone and one wrong grade shear pin.
there you have it... a recipe for disaster.
It sheared the 6 hardened bolds in the gear box instead,
they hold the crown wheel on the first drive rotor.

after ruining several drill bits on the 12.9 bolts, i
decided to try welding the bolts to some pieces of bar and
wound them out that way.

The sheared bolts only needed a slight touch with the welder
to attached the bars, once cooled they wound out like fun.
Note, always check shear pin grade yourself....
DO NOT rely on the bloke behind the counter who says "ah
these will do it"!! :-)

Very ingenius !
Used that trick a fiew times myself :-)

If all else fails out with the old ark welder!
(or the gas torch is another classic)
