Front view, if you look close you can see the frost on the

Re: 2004 Corn Harvest in Central ND
waiting on the grain cart, I added a Stewart Steel auger
extension to better reach the center of the grain cart.
With the Cat 1230 head it would be a tight squeeze unloading
on the go. I also added a second bin full sensor to the
hopper. It is wired to the beacon mounted to the Maurer
Hopper Topper, the beacon comes on at 75% full. I got the
idea after i demoed a Cat Lexion 480R

Side view, you can also see my GPS antenna on the front of
the cab. The corn is Dekalb DKC 35-51, an 85 day RR/BT
variety. It was planted at 27,300 seeds per acre and
averaged 95 bushels per acre in this field, a very fair
yield for the year we had, record below average temps and an
August 20th frost.

Eating 12 rows of Laser L22-H3(86 day) at 4.2 mph!
Averaging around 15 acres an hour. Corn is running just shy
of 100 bu per acre, moisture was a wonderful 16.8%

I am fully loaded with almost 300 bushels of corn, MX 220 is
maneuvering underneath to unload on the go

Re: 2004 Corn Harvest in Central ND
Unloading on the run, you can see the benefit of the Stewart
Steel Auger kit, at over 4 mph and with 12 rows, one little
misjudgement could cost you a day or more of downtime

Re: 2004 Corn Harvest in Central ND
Thanksgiving Day morning suprise! It has been expected,
late as everything has been I feel we have been running on
at least a 20 day grace period already! That little snow
didnt shut us down, we were running by late morning, but it
was a good reminder of what time of yr it is!
