Near the Max
Only a little ways to go until the leveler hits the "max."
There are a couple of spots on this hill where the combine
hits the limit of 48%. ;-)

Re: Near the Max
Hi John!
A great picture as always. Thanks for your answer on "Getting
Ready".
Do you ever go over the limit of 48% or do you have to
reverse?
Regards from Njål.

Re: Near the Max
Mark,

Re: Near the Max
Njal: We don't have very many slopes that go over 48%, and
when we do hit them, they don't last very long. Up in
Washington State however, they have hills were you are on
48% (or steeper) all day long. The 1470/ 1670 combines are
very stable; when you exceed the level limit the machine
just leans out some. The operators manual recomends "proceed
with caution" ;-)

Yo Don: Or maybe do a Triple Lindy (see also R. Dangerfield
in "Back to School") backwards like my neighbor did in his
2388 back in 2000. Weather is fine; a little cold this
morning. :-D

most.:-\

Re: Near the Max
Don: Yup, a very happy ending. He was ejected as the
combine went over backwards.....messed up a leg but he
made a full recovery. :-D
