kenLove 139399 246 fruit bags either
fruit bags
Throughout most of Asia bags are used to cover growing fruit
for a number of reasons, rainbourne virus, fruit flies &
birds for example.
These bags are used on loquat (biwa/nespero) to protect them
from fruit flies at my test plot in Kona Hawaii.
The bags have worked great and created markets for fruit
which could be sold before we started using the bags.
For some types of fruit like lychee, the bags help the fruit
to color evenly and stay on the tree longer to develop more
natural sugars.

We get them from Niigata Japan from Shibata Kakohshi Company
which makes 3000 types of bags for different fruit.
