Small Steiger Series I handout
This brochure is small in size and shows the early Series I
tractors. It shows the first series I tractors to be put
out by Steiger including the Rare Steiger Tiger 800. It has
the dual stacks through the hood just like the other Bearcat
and Wildcat tractors. It was built for 1-2 yrs before being
replaced by the Series I Turbo Tiger. Wich was built to
match the Cougar Series One. There was no Panther in the
Series one Steigers.

Re: Small Steiger Series I handout
Here is a picture of the Steiger tiger 800. With 320 HP it
was a monster in it day. many people do not know what this
tractor looks like. I have seen articles written about it
that are not showing the right tractor. They mistake it for
the Turbo I Steiger Tiger or the early 3300 tractor. Not
very many of these were built.
It has been said that this was the first tractor built by
the Steiger family named after a Cat. When they built their
new factory in Fargo, ND they started making the "Cat" named
tractors and the Wildcat was the first one off the line.
They were all based off the Tiger Tractor. They all look
alike with the dual stacks out of the hood. The first peice
of literature covering the Steiger "Cat" tractors only has
four tractors in it. The Wildcat, Super Wildcat, Bearcat,
and the Tiger.

Re: Small Steiger Series I handout
Here is the later Series I Steiger Line up. The Cougar has
now been added and you can see it is an early model by the
cab. The Next year the literature shows the Tubo Tiger I,
and the updated Cougar tractors.
It is nice to have a Steiger brochure collection that you
can put together the Steiger history. I also have stories,
and Steiger Articlesthat prove this tractors place in the
Steiger line up. These brochures are for sale and will be
posted in my Ebay auctions in the coming weeks. Keep an eye
on tillnthetrack1 ebay store and it will be there along with
tons more 4WD literature. Thanks!!
