Re: MRS tractor
I would guess these tractors were from the early 70's. In
the fall of 1970 the A60, A75, and A100 were supposed to
produced as IH. The A105 with 6-70 Detroit enging was
supposed to be produced in 1971. The deal fell through.
These tractors were from the Southeast and probably used
mostly for constructing roads as MRS stands for Mississippi
Road Supply. Some may have been used for land levelling or
in rice or sugar cane fields. You would not see them in the
big wheat fields where, Wagner, Versatile, Steiger, Case,
IH, and Deere four wheel drives first appeared.
Re: MRS tractor
There may be a date on the brochure. Sometimes the date is
camoflaged with other numbers, but if you know the
approximate date of printing, you may be able to pick out
the month and year among the code.
Re: MRS tractor
I have 36 different MRS brochures in my collection. 1961 to
1980. They used different engines Cummins, GM and IH. The
biggest MRS was the I-120 S with 700 HP. MRS has also build
a 2WD tractor with 600 FWHP. I think the biggest 2WD tractor
ever build. I have some MRS brochures for trade.

Heb je deze brochures te ruil, Erwin ? De A95 - A100 heb ik

Do you still have the short story I wrote on these on a CD
somewhere? I lost mine when my computer went down. You
were the only one I sent it to. Thanks.
