Re: Bizon Super 5056

These are very interesting pictures. I presume that they
were taken in Poland, because it looks as if a card with the
word 'REZERWACJA' (reserved) has been placed behind the
windscreen. I have learned something new from the second
picture- that the hydrostatic drive oil cooler is situated
on the outside of the combine. (I assumed that it would be
in a similar position to a BS Z110, where the drive belt
variator would normally be). There is also a 'bulge'
protruding from the engine compartment above the grain
unloading pipe. This is probably to allow space for a larger
hydraulic pump for the hydrostatic drive. The third picture
shows the Danish word 'Hydrostatisk', which was changed on
later models to the English 'Hydrostatic'.

I have attached a photo I posted some time ago. It is from a
Danish brochure and shows a 5056 with the newer style cab,
introduced in 1987. Note the white reel, cab roof, grain
pipe & wheels. The pictures which Tomasz took show a 1988
model, which has a black reel and all other white areas are
silver. This later colour sceme was used until production
ended of this model in 1992.

Bardzo ładny kombajn. Lśni jeszcze nowością. Ma sporo modernizacji. Szkoda, że tylko na eksport szły takie udoskonalone kombajny Bizon Super.
