Re: R70
Hey Lance, I like this combine. What year is this combine?
I think it have Deutz engine, isn't it?
What kind? 6 in line or V8 ?
Do you like the old Deutz or you prefer the new Cummins?
Here Deutz engines are working 14000 hours without any
problem. A lot of combines had 15000 and 16000 hours here.
My combine is now 12000.

Re: R70
Hello Sebas,

This R70 is a 1989 model. I believe this one has the Deutz
engine in it. This one is not ours, but we have a 1999 R62
that has a Cummins engine. I like both engines as a matter
of fact. What model is your combine? Have a nice day.

Lance:-)

Re: R70
Hey Lance,

My combine is a '82 Deutz-Fahr M2680. You can see a pic on
the Deutz-Fahr album. This is a small-medium combine here. I
harvest wheat with a 5 meters grain header and now i'm
harvesting corn with a 5 row header. I can read in a lot of
forums that the Gleaner is a simple but efficient machine,
well, i can say that the eutz-Fahr is very simple and
efficient too. Everybody can fix any problem. I don't need
and enginier to replace a bearing :-D
