Brandt Sprayer
A 70 foot Brandt sprayer working on SRS Ranches near The
Dalles, Oregon. The wheat could really use some rain; should
not have dust like this behind the sprayer in February. :-(
Great stands of wheat here in Wasco County;
it will be a shame if we don't get some rain on it. :-\
Re: Brandt Sprayer
A little different angle. Depending on the working speed,
this outfit will cover between 40 to 50acres per hour.
Re: Brandt Sprayer
whats the average speed when you're spraying.
We drive 6 - 7 KMH.
Nice combination by the way.
Re: Brandt Sprayer
Hey 5 tak! We like to run at about 5 mph; slower if it gets
too rough. Normally we run 2 sprayers together; this
70 footer and another Brandt that measures 100 feet
(attached) :-D Keeps our water hauler busy ;-)
Re: Brandt Sprayer
A little better look at the 100' machine. :-D
Re: Brandt Sprayer
A closer look down the boom showing the wind cones. These
cones protect the spray pattern as it exits the nozzles.
It cuts down on drift and allows spraying in wind up to
20 mph ;-)
Re: Brandt Sprayer
looks like there is nothing seeded in the last picture :-\
