Re: Gleaner R72
agdcofahn,

this is an R72. When I found the pic, there was an up close
shot of the model number, and plus it's bigger than an R52.
Have a nice day.

Re: Gleaner R72
Umm,
I don't know how awesome an R52 can be, maybe as awesome as
that 7700 that my farm was running back in the 70's, but if
you really want something that will combine some corn you
need to get a 9750STS

Re: Gleaner R72
If u want a combine that can combine corn you will get a
gleaner. if you have a 9750 Single Tine Separator all you
will be doing is fixing on it all day. Can't beat the
Natural flow of the Gleaner.

Re: Gleaner R72
The only natural flow that you'll have is that of your hand
jacking off while you're waiting for the parts so you can
fix that silver seeder!

Re: Gleaner R72
A silver seeder huh? u must mean a silver beast. if are
talking about combines throwing over....u must be talking
about a deere. THE GREEN STREAK

Re: Gleaner R72
Hey Deereman,

Maybe u should be the one jacking off. Your beloved
9750sts's aint worth a shit! Silver seeder, huh? What an
insult to the Gleaners, the best (by far) combine that has
ever been made. Why do u think John Deere's are green,
that's because you need money to pay for them, and to work
on them as well. Now older John Deere equipment is okay, but
this new John Deere shit sucks ass. As for the Gleaners, my
nucle has an R-62 and it will kick the larger 9750sts's ass
any damn day of the week! Then again, I guess that's why
more farmers are buying the Gleaners. And that's probably
also why there aint any sts's in my neck of the woods.
Because they suck!

Re: Gleaner R72
lance u need to grow up pal how many hrs have u put on a
combine you cant even tell what machine it is
its a fact that for the last 3 years ive been running a
9750sts and we have had no complaints what so ever of the
machine throwing grain out of the back even for a big seed
wheat grower in north dakota that is picky as hell.
and if you think a gleaner can match the output of an sts
your out of your tiny little mind id like to see a gleaner
with a 12 row corn head run at 6 mph in 180 bushel corn
hahahahahahah

Re: Gleaner R72
Deeredriver,

U should really get over urself. I've put plenty of hrs. on
combies, we even tested an STS and HATED it! We have always
liked the Gleaners better because they are simpler ad easier
to work on, and we don't lose much grain w/them. Maybe u
guys prefer them in the Dakotas, but here in North Carolina,
a lot of us use Gleaners, becasue we are smart.

Re: Gleaner R72
Come on boys, don't you realize that no matter what the
there are going to be green problems, silver problems,
orange problems, blue, red, etc. You can like what you
want, and argue as much as you may. We are all in the same
ball game, just at different positions. Happy farming and
God bless.

Re: Gleaner R72
Doug,

You are correct. I don't know if Deereman and Deeredriver
will agree, but u are correct. We all have combine problems,
but I just like the Gleaner better. Anyway, you have a safe
harvest yourself.

Sorry i sent last message off to early.
I was offered a job of machines operator down in this area
for a couple of months, then as he has another potato farm,
white spuds tho, further north, im not quite sure where. He
was gonna send me up there and put me as head machines
operator. I thin kthe fact i was from england and had
harvested spuds, along with other arable crops, since i was
about 15 helped me get the job :) Im now 24

Re: Gleaner R72
with the deerman shit, its all a personal opionion on what
you think is the best. I think Gleaner. The Gleaner is the
pretty much the same as the JDs in my opionion, and way
cheaper, so why wouldn't you get the glearner.
