This is the view from my house in sligo. Its great land, but
we have pests such as prairie hens, wild boar and wolves
that come in and eat our chucks. Has anyone ever dealt with
these darn nuisances?

Re: Co Sligo
Yes, I have. My great grandfather taught me a ritual to deal
with them. At dusk, walk out to the centre of the prairie
and mumble to yourself, "Guanna Hammilia Besoire." Sit
quietly for 5 minutes until you see the wolves coming
towards you. They will come!!! Then you get a metal pipe
with a wooden handle on it. Raise it to about shoulder
height, and pump the dicks full of lead.

Re: Co Sligo
Paddy you should try and ride the wild boars as a walsh man
told me it's better than sheep if you can catch them. You
also should watch out for the dangerous snakes we have.
