A Cat D6B that has just finished up a spray project on some
winter wheat just west of Dufur, Oregon on a beautiful
Monday morning. :-D
Everything looks nice and green now. I'll bet you guys are
looking for some rain soon with the dry weather like us
east of you. I remember when those Cats were king of the big
farming. Always impressive.
Yo Redpainter! Yup, the wheat looks really great now.
Sure will be a crime if it does not get a rain on it. It
was just a perfect fall to seed and the stands are
wonderfull. We would have it made if those guys in Southern
California weren't hogging all the rain. ;-)
Sorry, maybe i disturb you, but i love your country ,i would
like to live in America, because there are very beautiful
Here in Italy the things don't go very well for agriculture
economy. How do it's goes in you country? And how much money
stay for every acrid of wheat?
See you soon!
Hey Emiliano!! Well, it's not much different here in this
country....it's get big or get out. The depressed price of
wheat and the skyrocketing cost of all inputs has forced
a lot of good farmers out. :-( My own farm proved to be
too small, so it was seeded to grass and now I work for
a large producer. Still.....better than working in town :-D
