Hey Rich,

Nice Tractor. Was this photo taken this spring or some other
time? How many acres of potatoes do you guys grow? Is
potatoes prety big in you area. Over here (southern Ontario
) it's not that big. We looked into it a little bit, but we
don't have a pond and in the summer it gets prety hot around
here so we decided to go with the flow and grow beans -
wheat - alfalfa.

Just a quick translation for you; alfalfa is luzerne and
beans being soybeans.

the photos where taken yesterday (saturday 12th. the
tractor is owned by a local farmer. i dont know how many
acres of potatos they grow but i think its quite alot.
yes the potatos are quite big around here!

What do you mean quick translation? Alfalfa is both an
english and dutch word....

Alfalfa is only a North American English word. The rest of
the English world uses Luzerne. Same as here we always talk
about Corn then that is really totally wrong. It is Maize.
And what we call grain is really supposed to be Corn,
confused yet??
