Claas SF Hercules
A Claas SF Hercules pictured in 1970 in front my grandpa's
farm in Holland. This combine was my grandpa's third
combine. The first combine was an international which was
traded for a new Claas Europa. Because the quest of more
capacity this combine was traded for a used "Hercules"
The combine did not have a grain bin , but worked with bags.
When corn silage was introduced in early seventies, grain
was phased out slowly, so the combine was never used after
1974. Later they dismanteld the combine. The Perkins diesel
engine was sold for a irrigation pump.
My dad (Theo) in front of the combine, and my Uncle (jan)
still on the platform with grandpa.
Re: Claas SF Hercules
The header is 9 feet wide , and the Perkins diesel engine
was 75 hp.
