Re: massey ferguson 7238
It's a Sampo Rosenlew from Finland. They now have an
agreement with SDF (deutz fahr combines).

Re: massey ferguson 7238
Hi Eoin Stapleton!

I got your e-mail and tried to answer you via e-mail but it
seems there is something wrong with it:-\ . Yeah the 430
used a different cab from the latter 16, 20 and 20xp models.
U have a brochure of the 16 and 20 models from 84? That is
really weird cause those models were produced from 85
onwards, well I guess the brochures are made a little bit
earlier:-) The 7238 was knows as the MF 28xp before it came
7238. I guess they renamed it to fit the Dronningborg made
combine series. I think the 7238 sold pretty well, eventhoug
was at the time still quite a big combine in Finland. Then
again nowdays some of the biggest combines like lexion 580
are sold in finland but they still aren't that common. The
7238 is Sampo Rosenlew made and it is the same combine as
Sampo 2085 TS. I don't know a lot about the plot combines,
they only use those for tests here, even we don't have that
small farms round here;-) Maybe you could tell me alittle
about the 8xp? But I've seen them around so guess they are
one of the most popular plot combines, must be because there
aren't thet many manufacturers.

Sorry for the late response! :-)

greetings from Finland!
