Hi!

This combine really is made in Brazil and it's the succesor
of the European made MF ombines, such as the 507 (see my
post on this page)It for exammple has the same diameter
cylinder. Unfortunately MF combines aren't sold in my
country anymore:-\ Well you can always import them
yourself:-D

Re: Massey Ferguson 5650 combine in South Africa
Thanks for the reply "agricult" !!!
MF combines interest me a lot because my father and I owned
MF 550,540 and 300 combines that gave us a great service.
Do you know where I can get brochures of the latest MF
combines? (European).
What combines do you get in your country?
These new MF combines are the first for about 15 years to
sell in South Africa. The last was the older MF5650 and
1630 combines.

Hi C.W. Lombard!

Fraid I don't know where you could get MF brochures, I'm
sure they are available in those countries where MF is sold,
but I guess it's pretty hard to get them to SA :-\ but
here's an idea , why don't you try the MF website? There are
often the pdf versions of the paper brochures:-) I've
gathered my self quite an collection of tractor and combine
broch's from the internet:-) The selection of combine brands
in Finland is unfotunately quite limited, the makes sold
here include Sampo Rosenlew(SR), New Holland, Claas and John
Deere. Then again as I said you can always import your own
combine:-D

C.W. Lombard I would tkae a look at the 8460's if you can
find one in your area. They are a great machine built in
Germany. I've got with a Mercedes engine. Finding a straight
cut header is an entire different story. I would stongly
recommend something like or a claas.
