Re: A good Toyota
Hi Rasmus,

I thought only we get our straw at home with our Nissan
Patrol. The people in our village often asks if we were
insane to drive with the car into the fields. Now i can show
them there are more people wo use their 4x4 for this job.

Re: A good Toyota
Ha Ha !!

My friend uses Fiat Panda (750 cc) to haul straw, about 50
bales in once !! Making a turn is most difficult of this
job, it hasn't got enough weight on the rear to pull the
tandem trailer around the corner...

The Panda does a better job than their Renault 25 (motor is
3X as big) but this small car has a very slow speed in first
gear, this works great on the land.

I have an old Volvo 440 used for farm haulage, and of course
racing, I had 3 flat tires last week. Now, i have welded
some pipes on the rims, to make old fashioned cage wheels.
You better not drive away too fast on loose sand, or it will
dig holes like a dog, and you wont get forward, just

By the way; This is the Humor section. So when you say a
good Toyota, i assume that is meant as a cynical sense of
humor..... Ha...
Re: A good Toyota
Well said, theres no such thing as a good Toyota. My friend
Billy has a 4x4 Fiat Panda, he has made it like a pick-up by
cutting the roof off the back and lining the floor with
wood. He pulls a silage bale in a trailer out to the sheep.
