C W , nice pics you have of mostly plains farming here as
I've looked at alot of pics posted previously. I remember
going through the hay ground in S Dakota at night during hay
season. Couldn't keep my windshield clean as gnat or other
insects hovered over the road in a type ot tubular formation
at windshield height. In the 70's there were alot of giant
hay stacking machines that would make big haystacks on
trailers and dump them in the fields to be picked up later.
That could be done in dry climates. The round baler put
those big stacker machines out of business.

Redpainter,
My brother, sister and wife toured through 20 states in the
USA. Mostly the Midwest and the Plains. Illinois, Iowa,
Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming,
Montana, Nort Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota and
Wisconsin. We saw many farm implements and I took many
pictures. We also have been to New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada,
California, Utah and Idaho but did not see much there.
