Auto steer John Deere
The development in farming change verry fast. Tractors who
are steered by satelites are seen already at the Agritech-
nica 1999. This year, John Deere presents an tractor, where
a driver isn´t planned. He can do, for example the spraying
in a large plantation.

can these fantastic machines spot and avoid wet holes? what
heppens if they get stuck? can another un maned machine come
tow it out? do they know if there doing a good job?

I think this is just a prototype at the moment.

Such machines currently have very limited capabilities. The
scenarios you mention are tremendous challenges for robotic
