Hesston stackhand system
Before round bales, large hay stacks were becoming popular
in drier plains areas for storing hay. Hesston had the
stackhand system with swather for cutting hay, stacker for
stacking and packing hay in a stack which was later stored
on the ground in drier areas where weather did a small
amount of damage. A type of trailer with gathering chains
could pick it up, move it and with a cutting attatchment
distribute it on the ground for cattle herds on pasture.
Re: Hesston stackhand system
