John Deere rodweeder
1970's John Deere Rodweeder used on dryland wheat farms to
cut off weeds underground before seeding or in summer fallow
when soil is laying unplanted to save enough moisture for
the next years crop in dry lands. Probably built by J E Love
Co of Garfield WA.
Re: John Deere rodweeder
Nope. Most certainly built by John Deere of Moline,
Illinois. And many still in service. ;-)

John, Now as I think about it, I think there was a later rod
that folded up in the air. That may have been made by J E
Love. I used to go by the factory and Love also had a
similar yellow version they sold in yellow.
