MF Swather (MacDon)
When this swather came out in 83 it was sold as a MF not
MacDon as far as I know. I heard MF was not able to pay it's
bills and really hurt MacDon financially. Soon after these
swathers were sold as Western Parts in the Canadian Prairies
and Mac Don in the US. MacDon was the name used for hay and
grain type and Westward swatheres were grain. Today MacDons
are sold in those two names as well as Premier for Deere and
Prairie Star for NH. Colors are now the same. In the
80's/90's IH and Deere sold these swathers in their own
name.
