Claas 8-row heads like pictured here are becoming very rare
over here in the Netherlands, allmost all of them got
replaced by Claas or Kemper row-independant heads already.
The one in the picture, owned by contractor "The Schalm" is
one the few survivors but will go out of service by the end
of the 2002 harvest.

Claas 8-rij kettingbekken zoals op de foto zijn inmiddels
zeldzaam in Nederland, en bijna allemaal vervangen door
Claas of Kemper rij-onafhankelijke maisbekken.
Dit exemplaar van loonbedrijf "De Schalm" uit Gilze is dit
jaar ook aan z'n laatste seizoen bezig.
