House in mountains
This is a typical house in the mountains of Brasil. The
model is inspired in europeans ones, from where many
immigrants came, like germanys, italians and many others.

Re: House in mountains
Most picture Brazil with Jungles as that is what is seen on
TV. I know the Andes will outdo most other mountains in the
World, but is the climate still very warm in an area like
this? Is this in the southwest of the country? What is the
agriculture there.

Re: House in mountains
Redpainter,

The Brasil area is very extensive, so we can found many
types of climates. For example, in the north region the
climate is very hot, sometimes the temperature is 40 º C or
over, while in the south, in the winter, the temperature is
0º C or less. So, with that diversity of climates, we can
produce many kinds of agricultural products. The picture
that I posted is a small farm house in southeast of the
country, in the mountains region, where the farms are not
too big, and the most expressive agricultural product is the
"conillon" coffee. In the southwest (as you asked)we can
found big farms, and the most expressive agricultural
product is the soybean, with a production of 52 milions of
tons/year. The coffee production is, aproximately, 30
millions of sacas (1 saca = 60 Kg)/ year. The bovine cattle
production is 1,4 million of tons/year (2003), and the
cattle is practised in all the country.

Greetings. ;-)
