Inventions and Solutions
I sugest a topic that shows the inventions made by own
farmers to solve their troubles.

In that pic, there is an old Hanomag R 24 tractor. The parts
of engine are very hard to find (impossible in Brazil), so
the owner changed the engine and put a 4 cylinder chevrolet
one, that originally used gasoline, and now converted to GLP
(liquid gas of petroleum)(see post # 185308, by TLCanton).
The convertion was made by the same mechanic that changed
the engines).

So, that will be very fine a topic where farmers shows their
own inventions/solutions, helping others with the same
trouble.

I already posted this pic before. Originally, a MF 265, now,
after the transformation, a efficient tractor to pull boats
of water.

Re: Inventions and Solutions
Ricardo, I know the engines of the R24's were not very good.
In Germany were many R24's and C224's (the newer version of
the R24)converted by a Mercedes engine.

Edwin,

Nice job. Mercedes are excelent engines.

What engine is this? How many cylinders? HP? Refrigeration
(water/air)? Injection (fuel)?

Re: Inventions and Solutions
Ricardo, it has a Mercedes type 180 engine. It's a 4
cylinder diesel 19 KW. I think it's an aircooled engine. The
topspeed of it is 40 KM/H!!
