Re: MX270
it looks like the mx 270 disk is just scraching the ground
not like the disk behind the jd tractor it looks like its
digging in deep from what i can tell our 4230 could pull
that disk up a hill and can pull 36 ft of rod weeder with
multiplex up steeper hils

Re: MX270
Holy cow guys! This isn't about out pulling with a tractor
it's showing that the CIH resale is going up and the JD is
going down. Also, the Deere does have decals I dont know
what your talking about?

Re: MX270
Ah yes, it is amazing what you can do with computers, if you
notice real close, the red and green tractors are pulling
the "same" disk. And the reason that there is no "John
Deere" on the tractor, I don't think Deere would have gone
for CNH paying them royalties for using JD in an
advertisement which was knocking their machinery. It is a
cool ad though, which looks much better in print than this
digital copy.

Re: MX270
Hello guys,

Doug I noticed that both machines were pulling the ame disk,
I just didn't mention it. Hey Chris, nah don't worry about
them picking on me. They are just mad because we don't use
John Deere like they do. They think that everyone should use
what they say, yeah "deeredriver and jd fan" i'm referring
to you! And deeredriver you do not need to know what my age
is! I might be younger than you but that don't mean
anything! Guys gee whiz, why can't you quit bashing me and
others because we don't use the brand of equipment that you
use!

Lance:-)

Re: MX270
This photo is just trying to prove a point, and not which
tractor could outpull the other, just that the resale of
case is going up and JD is slightly decreasing. THATS ALL.
I wish all this digging at each other would stop. JD fan
needs to stop shit stirring and Lance just ignore him, you
know aswell as i do that he knows squat so just let him have
his fun and dont let him wind u up.
Lets just try to appreciate some of the great "art work" on
this great site.

Re: MX270
Apart from this being an innocent posting about an advert!
At the end of the day, put these two very capable machines
in the same paddock together and you will see very little
difference in performance. You may spot some fuel
consumption figure differences after 50hrs, you may find one
machine more comfortable to spend 18hrs a day on during the
silly season, you may find the PTO switch in a more
conveniant spot than the other, you may.........
At the end of the day it's personnal choice, if I air a view
about a machine or topic, then I might expect some healthy
discussion on the subject. I do not see the point in
personnaly attacking somebody elses carictor because their
view is different view to mine!
Thats all.

Re: MX270
if you dont like case go look at a different picture because
if you cant be nice then fuck off.... man, were all in this
together guys and it dont matter what your opperating
because they all do the same job. i like fords but i like
case and john deere and etc too. you guys are being childish
and the way farming has been going here in canada and
everywhere else we dont need this. Just be happy that there
is a tractor on your yard. john deere and case are the same
in ways it dont matter.they all cost money and are nice to
have

im runing a john deere,a case,a ford/new holland and a allis
and im happy with all them

so have a safe harvest ;-)

Re: MX270
Hasn't anyone noticed that the Case MX and the Deere 8020
look almost exactly the same? The long bonnet, the position
of the cab, the armrest controls, one door completely out of
glass... I think the Case engineers have looked a little bit
too close to the Deere when they designed the MX. (just
mentioning, I'm not a Deere or a Case fan, Ford rules and
will rule forever)

Re: MX270
The John Deere 8020 and Case IH MX series look nothing
alike. But the MX is much better looking.

Re: MX270
this ad might be a bit more reasonable if case would
actually compare their tractor to an 8410 instead of an 8400
which was not JD's tractor at that time. Maybe they should
make the field level before they compare. Case does this
all the time bashing the other companies and blowing their
horn about how great they are. You don't see JD bashing
case like this even though case copies everything they do.

Re: MX270
Oh well everyone has their opinion, but I know which tractor
is best! "CASE IH";-)

Re: MX270
Im not keen on either of them. Also that is not a hill, its
a slight slope. Come to Scotland and see some of our hills,
they are steep! What is the ground pressure of one of those
machines?? I cant see them crossing a scottish peat bog
pulling a drainage plough, they would sink!
