Harvest 2002
Here are some of this year's harvest pictures from Eastern
Nebraska, USA in the Platte River Valley near Schuyler.

Here is our 1983 John Deere 8820 combine. We farm on 30
inch rows using a ridge till system. That is the reason for
the duals. And with 8 rows coming in at a time, the grain
tank never seems large enough.

Check out the rest of my pictures. Happy Harvesting and God
Bless.

Re: Harvest 2002
The tank will hold about 250 bushels. And we have been
averaging 200+ bushels per acre, with an 8 row head, in half
mile long rows. You can do the math. I know it is tough to
start completely empty, split rows and make it to the other
end and not overflow the tank. But honestly I am not going
to complain about that problem, because that means the corn
is good.
