Re: 1/64 collection
I have one Cockshutt 1850. I like Oliver to because there
pretty much the same tractor for the most part but I like
that Cockshutt is Canadian made and was manufactured close
to where I live.

Re: 1/64 collection
Massey-Harris was a Canadian tractor to, so that must be
good too :-D
Are there many Cockshut's still around in you're area?

Re: 1/64 collection
Actualy I like John Deere alot to but Versatile is my second
favourite. Ya there is actualy a Cockshutt 1655 about 70HP
right down the road and its in good condition. I also know a
farm that has three of my tractors used for mainly haying.

Re: 1/64 collection
Ah, that interesting. Are there more old tractors in you're
area, like Moline, Masse-Harris, AC or International.

Re: 1/64 collection
Thanks. Ya we have some small Massey Harris tractors and
Farmalls. I havent seen many Allis Chalmers or M&M tractors.
I have seen a few old Internationals though. We have alot of
Masseys around here and personaly I dont like them no
offense to anyone that does but I have my reasons.

Thanks for the posts.

Re: 1/64 collection
Yep, you have right, everybody has his own taste for
tractors. I dont like all the Massey tractors, but more the
bigger one like a 55. That's a real strong one. I prefer
like AC on 1st place and IH on second.
At home we are now restoring our AC D19 tractor.

Re: 1/64 collection
That sounds like a big job. Where do u get new parts for
somethin like that. We have a farm around here that uses
three of those Allis Chalmers tractors that you have as your
pic im not sure the number but there all 2-wd. They farm
alot of vegetables like carrots, potatoes, cabbage, and
more.

Re: 1/64 collection
Hello Josh, Like Sjoerd said, the tractor on mij photo is an
AC from the 8000 serie, an 8070. And they where also
available in 2wd. Have you some photo's from that AC's by
that farm? Or could you make some please? Im very interested
to see them.
And about our D19, we dont need much parts. Our tractor is
one with very litle hours on it, it has 2400 hours run and
is from 1962. So we must have lucky with a very good one
like this. But the parts that we need, like decals, oil
filters are here at home. We bought them a copple of years
ago in Amerika in 1996 when whe went there to visit family.

Here a photo that i've taken monday. Now at this moment al
the wheels are off.
