Re: It looks so...
...MF 5400

Correct me if I'm wrong:-D
Re: It looks so...
The Valmet-style tractor looks like a mix of at least 2
generations of Valmet, or maybe a mix of european and
Brazilian Valmets. The cab looks like M or T series with
different top, and the the bonnet looks like it's a mix of
Brazilian and the old -05 series.
Re: It looks so...
The Valtra/challenger is made in Brazil. The MT400B and
MT500B have Caterpillar engines.
Re: It looks so...
jos knows it :-P, but yes he's right about the engines, made
bij cat base of the tractor MF 5400, now we've to wait for a
yellow Fendt Vario :-P
Re: It looks so...
Hello Guys :-) !

Nice pics. But only badge engineering.

The brazilian made Challenger - by Valtra :-\ - is made for
East Europe, has got a very simple tranny an heavy duty
gearbox, 12 speeds forward/4 speeds reverse, the front axle
is mechanically operated with a wet clutch.

A very rugged boy!

The other types where made by Massey Ferguson :-D in
Beauvais/France. The range MT600 is the MF 8400 with other
colours, other motor hood und other cap top. The engines are
from SISU, same transmission, same hydraulics. The MT400 is
the MF 5400, the Caterpillar engines are in fact engines of
Perkins, it's all the same :-P .

Beauful machines! I have seen them in the factory in
Beauvais last autumn.

Greetings - Franz
