it sound like you are a collector or machinery related
pictures and brochures? Tell us something about this hobby.
Are there many people who do it? Do you have a large
collection? Are there conventions, swap-meets, or books for
I'm happy you want information about my hobby. I'm French
and it's the reason I speak not very well English.
I'm not the only collector of brochures and pictures. My
favourit occupation is articulated tractors, big tractors,
crawlers, rarest tractors, prototypes... I write all
brochures in my computer. The document is large!! 150 pages!
I collect brochures, photos, toys, all about 4WD tractors.
In my country, France, we have not a lot of articulated
tractors but 2 principal constructors has built articulated
tractors: VANDEL and BIMA. If you search in farmphoto, you
can see some photos. BIMA's tractors are in particulary in
my region; the CHAMPAGNE-ARDENNES (we make champagne :-D )
I make some toys: BIMA 360, MEGATRAC CMC, VANDEL 2245 R and
I take a lot of photos in the north of France of articulated
tractors and other machineries. It's hard to find
articulated tractors. Imagine, I has found approximately 15
articulated tractors in my department in 2 years!
I has open GROS TRACTEURS PASSION web-site in april and
today 8100 visitors has seen my site. I'm happy! But I think
my site is not very well and I want enlarge.
I search again and again photos, brochures but it's more and
more rare. And I have not the time because I'm student!
That might be a good idea for a new section of FarmPhoto.
I think you'll find quite a few brochure collectors here on
I collect tractor brochures from around the world myself. I
started running out of room for everything,so I had to make
up my mind what to collect. I know some guys with over 1/2
million brochures and more!!
Never occurred to me that people might be interested in such
a thing. There you go I guess...
I'll make a new section under the machinery section called
"brochures" (unless there is a better title). I'll dig
through old posts and fish out some of the material to seed
