This photo was taken in Wisconsin on August 29, 2005. The
tractor was pulling an empty 9000 gal. manure tanker. The
driver oversteered after letting a car pass and jackknifed
the tanker breaking the tractor in half.

Where in wisconsin did this happen cause someone about 10 miles away did the same thing with a tanker behind him.

Looks very nasty; it is hard to even recognise that it was a tractor once :-[

I think the driver has been very lucky. A tractor can always be replaced.

When this happens, the tractor often tips on its side and the trailer goes over the top of the tractor cab!
