County and Ford conversion workingdays Drew Steignton,
Devon, England 10/11-09-2005.

The Eva 8100 is based on the Ford 7700, a Belgium dealer in
Andenne, Belgium converted the Ford 7700 with a Ford 6
cylinder industrial (2715 E) engine and used a cast iron
subframe.

Re: Eva 8100 at the Drew Steignton workingdays ...
Ik wou net commentaar geven dat die motor aan nieuwe
zuigerveren toe was omdat er een mist te zien is tussen het
rechter achterwiel en voorwiel, maar toen bedacht ik me dat
het een Engelse Ford was.... :-D

Re: Eva 8100 at the Drew Steignton workingdays ...
Renze, jij bent toch de Zetor man :-) De Eva 8100 is een in
België verbouwde Ford. Maar hij is wel voorzien van een 6
cylinder Ford industrie motor. ;-)

Re: Eva 8100 at the Drew Steignton workingdays ...
The 8100 was it not bulit by County tractors for Ford and
EVA had no involvement in the 8100 build also County
designed the 8200 using the TW engine instead of the
industrail 2714/e in the 8100 which was a far better
tractor. In the Uk we never got the european built 6
cylinders e.g 5095, 7400, There was a few conversions done
one in Scotland by Agricar which fitted the 8600/8700 engine
to 5000/7000 7600 67/7700 some 7610 were done these started
with farmers returning their old tractorsbut a lot were done
from new The 7600 with the 6 cylinder was a great success
giving around 120 hp

gnicholson,

Please write your post agian. But this time with a CAPITAL
on the beginning of the sentence and a point ( . ) at the
end of it.

The English of the most readers here is worse than mine. To
read your story causes me already serious problems..

Re: Eva 8100 at the Drew Steignton workingdays 200
The Ford 8100 surely was not built by EVA, but by County Commercial cars and it did use the 2714E Dorset engine. It did not have the cast iron hull to support the engine like the EVA conversions did, but it used two lenghts of steelplate to support the unstressed Dorset engines.
The 8200 was originally developed by South Essex Motors and batched as the European 8401 since they already did the Australian 8401 using the 7700 backend mated to the 6,6 l. 8700 engine, but it was eventually build by County.
SEM developed a lot of tractorprojects for Ford based on Ford skid units. They also developed the 7810 of which production was taken over and started by Ford in 1988.

Greetings, Bert
