Ursus 5024
Jest to wersja z silnikiem perkinsa.
Osobiœcie nie mam przekonania do tych ci¹gników szczególnie
z silnkiem perkinsa. Choæ mo¿e ten silnik przy zastosowaniu
w innych maszynach daje lepsze rezultaty.

Re: Ursus 5024
An old MF design, cheap because they use lower quality steel
than MF did. When the Dutch importer started selling these,
next to the URII models, they soild a few of them, but after
2 years nobody bought them anymore, because the quality was
very low.

Re: Ursus 5024
yes, Ursus makes low quality castings. With the big Crystal
series, the only problems they had were in the powersteering
and lift system (allways leaking) and the rear axle (some of
them could just crack due to poor casting)
Both the power steering and the complete rear axle unit,
were produced and built by Ursus.

I have also heard from a mechanic, that these MF licensed
Ursus tractors in the USA have similar problems, when a
front loader is mounted, the front axle carrier casting just
snaps in half... :-/

No, the 231S and 431 are built in Turkey by Uzel, another MF
licensee.
