CPS Wheat
Here were switching to some CPS wheat ( Canadian Prairie
Spring Wheat). Mostly we could leave the 36' (10,80m!)
header on the combine while on the roads. I'd love to do
that in Germany. :-)
Running at 80-90 bu/ac this added to the huge crop in a lot
of Alberta this year.

Re: CPS Wheat
Getting dark. As you can see a lot to do in that field. We
didn't finish it that night. At 1.00 am the headers wouldn't
cut anymore. That's one thing about the honeybees, they
don't cut any tough material. Other than that great headers
in Canada. In Germany I wouldn't want to take it of the
combine all the time. In places people change fields more
than 5 times a day. You don't want to do that with a
honeybee.

Re: CPS Wheat
Last one in this series. All the bins are full and the
elevatos don't take anymore. This pile holds about 9000 bu
(~240t). We made several other ones. It was one huge
harvest. I hope everybody got theirs in. When I left on the
19.10. there was an awful lot still out there.

Take care Martin

About an hour east of Edmonton. Do you know Elk Island National Park? Very close.
