Re: Case IH 1470 combine
Kerneels-
I believe that this is a picture of a "60 or 80" series
of CaseIH. The 1470 and 1670 models were the hillside
version of the "60" series and this machine does not appear
to be the hillside version. Thanks and great pics! :-)

Re: Case IH 1470 combine
I agree. I think the combine was repainted and wrong decals
were put on it.

Re: Case IH 1470 combine
I agree but think its a 1480

If i remember correctly, the 1460 combines had a single straw spreader while the 1480 had two

I spent a lot of time on one of these guys back in th 80s

Re: Case IH 1470 combine
A 1470 at work......the 1470 is a 1460 on steroids.....more power, the
hydro is set up differently, sub -frame for the leveling system, two
speed 4 wheel drive, bigger rear tires ( 23.1-26).......automatic 2 speed
leveling ( manual override) max leveling 48% :-D

The follow on to the 1470.....the 1670, a 1660 on steroids. More
capacity ( different rotor & cage) Same basic package on the leveling
system & 4 wheel drive......both great TRUE hillside combines. :-D
